On the Monday night before Christmas our Korean friends the Shims joined us for Family Home Evening. I made a big batch of my mom's yummy gingerbread cookie dough and they helped me roll out the dough, cut out the gingerbread men, and decorate them. When we carved pumpkins with the Shims in October they asked about the tradition of gingerbread men at Christmas since they don't do gingerbread men in Korea. It was fun to share one of our traditions with them and to hear about their Christmas and New Years traditions in Korea.
These girls are cute little friends
We still had our little "photo booth" backdrop set up from our Christmas party, so we took a few cheesy pictures with the Shims ....because Josh had been begging me for a few more photos of him in those Rudolph antlers :)
