Road Trip Day 4: Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

On Day 4, we 45 drove minutes north from Savannah to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Talk about a gorgeous drive! Road trips on the east coast are much more scenic than the Utah - California road trips I grew up with.
There are several different beaches on Hilton Head Island, but we decided to check out Folly Field Beach since there was a convenient boardwalk that goes right out to the shore. It was a great beach! And Hilton Head is really, really beautiful. We could have spent a full week here!
This walkway out to the beach is genius. Every beach should have this.
This brought back memories of living in Huntington Beach and lugging my stroller through the sand to get to the shore!
Tate's first beach experience. He was a big fan. He laughed so hard every time the waves came in and the water "chased" him. He also loved picking up little shells and chasing seagulls.
It was pure bliss for Bryn.

Josh is such a fun dad.

 Thoroughly enjoying his sandy lollipop

Heading back to the car after a successful beach day.
Hilton Head won us over!
