Blah

It's been dark, gray, cold, and rainy all day. Our car has issues once again. I'm crossing my fingers Josh will be able to drive it home tonight without a big fiasco. (It's time for a second car! One that works! I know I've been saying this for months, but I mean it this time!) And I just realized the attire for Josh's work party this weekend is "black cocktail dress". Do I own a (modest) black cocktail dress or anything even close? No. The thought of having to buy a new dress is quite nice, but what is not so nice is the pressure of finding a dress for a good price, by Saturday, and without a car. Oh, the trials and afflictions I have to suffer! Ha.

Wow, that is so specific! Sheesh. You should borrow Brynlee's red dress with ruffles, just to mix it up a bit :)

Yikes! There are some super cute dresses at DownEast right now...you have tons of family in Utah, right? They could probably pick one up for you and mail it to you to be there in time for Saturday.

My favorites are these two: http://www.downeastbasics.com/perfectformdress.aspx and http://www.downeastbasics.com/formalflowerdress.aspx

If that were me Abe would tell me that it didn't really matter what I wore and that I should just wear any old thing I have and deal with it rather than spend money. haha

I am with you though. It is hard sometimes to find something appropriate for a dress party when you are not in UT.

I totally know what you mean. My works was last weekend and the same. The guys were all in suits and ties! Insane! I guess us financial people really know how to party??? hahaha. Good luck with the dress!
