Jae and Amy's Wedding

After our 4 weeks in Utah we flew to San Francisco because....

MY OLDER BROTHER JAE GOT MARRIED!!!

It was such a happy, happy day and I'm so glad we could be there for it.

Here are my siblings at the wedding dinner the night before...minus my sister Marie! Her baby was just a month old, so she couldn't make it and it wasn't the same without her!

They got married in the beautiful LDS temple in Oakland, CA and my Grandpa Clarke performed the wedding ceremony in the temple.

The Oakland temple is a special place because this is where my parents were married 30 years ago!

I took a million pictures of the wedding, but I think this is the only picture of our whole family.

The reception that night was in Amy's hometown of Santa Rosa. The reception was really beautiful and so much fun.

My little brother Jordan actually just moved to San Francisco about a week before Jae's wedding, so it was fun to see him in his new hometown :) It worked out perfectly because he took over Jae's apartment contract and moved in right as Jae was moving into his new apartment with Amy.

 Along with the dinner at the reception, they also had this cute display of Bob's donuts (famous in San Francisco). Logan was in charge of restocking the display throughout the night and did a fine job.

Mya got all wild and crazy that night and decided it was time for her first ever sip of water. Party animal!

 The best part of the night, by far, was watching my 87-year-old Grandpa Tueller cut a rug on the dance floor with all the other dancers crowding around him. Priceless!!! I am so sad I don't have any pictures of it!

My picture doesn't take good action shots...(that's probably apparent)...but it was so much fun having a good reason to dance with my fam.

 Bryn was begging to dance with Mya, so we finally gave in and let them dance for a minute. I think Bryn enjoyed it much more than Mya!

Christmas Finale

Here are the last of the Christmas pictures. Looking at these pictures makes me miss Utah and all the fun we had! It was such a great trip!

We were glad to be in town for Logan's Eagle Court of Honor. Congrats Log!

 Christmas Eve stripes with my beautiful sis and sister in law! It's so, so fun to have another sister in the family! We've got to get Jordan married soon :)

 Brynlee is never Brynlee. She is always, always pretending she is someone else. My family got a kick out of all her dressing up while we were there. This is one of the days where she was "Grandma". When she's in character she really goes all out. So of course when she decided to be Grandma she had to put on her white shirt, green cardigan, and gray pants. But that wasn't enough. She needed velcro rollers in her hair and a little curling iron, too.

 This day Bryn was "Cindy Bear". The furry suit wasn't enough, so my mom whipped up a blue skirt to make the outfit a little more accurate. Bryn's dressing up is a little intense! It's cute and funny, but woah. 

 Bryn....I mean, "Cindy Bear"....really is such a big older sister. I love these two together! And I also love how Mya's belly hangs over her pants. That never gets old for me!

 Mya and her brand new cousin Braden. My sister had her baby on 12/12/12 and it is so fun for my girls to have a cousin on their Clarke side of the family now!

 Logan is used to being the only child at home, so he was so nice to "share" my parents with us and let us take over the house with all our baby gear and everything. My girls adore him!

 Now that Braden is here they don't have to share Mya...they each have a baby to hold :)

 Bryn doesn't watch much TV at home, so she was in heaven piling on my parents bed with her uncles, watching the morning cartoons.

 I like to pretend I can play the piano like my mom and Marie. Bryn was on to me, though, and called me out for struggling through each song. Hopefully someday down the road we'll have a piano and I can play children's songs like I grew up with!

 This day Bryn was a groundhog. (Don't most 4 year old girls dress up as groundhogs?) She read a book about a groundhog and then darted downstairs to the costume box and came back in this get up.

This was such a fun, fun trip and I'm really grateful we had the chance to fly out and spend so much time with family. One of the good things of living across the country is it makes us really appreciate the times when we do get to be home with our families!

Christmas: Brick Oven with the Hawkins

To celebrate Josh's mom's birthday we went to Brick Oven with some of Josh's siblings who were in town. Mar had the great idea to reserve a private room and then we didn't have to worry about the kids as much. After dinner we headed Josh's parent's house to play games and sleep over with some of the cousins. Bryn has so much fun with all her cute Hawkins cousins, so she was having such a great time! And Josh always loves an excuse to stay up playing games with his siblings until the wee hours of the morning.
