Josh's parents just completed the LDS mission they were serving in Madrid, Spain for the past 18 months. Their flight from Spain to Utah had a layover in NYC, so they decided to make it a 3-day layover and spend a few days with their New Jersey grandchildren! This is photo from the airport in NYC - so happy to be home!

We spent the evening at Jake and Tyra's house, listening to Grandpa and Grandma Hawkins tell stories from their mission.

It was so great to be reunited!
(I'm giggling in this photo because Tate's little hand found his grandma's hair and was yanking on it all during the pictures!)

The New Jersey grandchildren
I think Tate is going to get along just fine with these two :)
Mya is pretty shy and cautious and I wasn't sure how well Mya would remember her Hawkins grandparents, but she loved being with them!
My in-laws are such wonderful people. It was such a treat to spend a few days with them before they headed home. We're looking forward to spending even more time with them at the Hawkins reunion this summer!
