Saturday night we drove to Great Falls and walked the gorgeous, shaded trail along the Potomac River. It was a beautiful night and a fun change from all the museums and monuments of the previous days.

On the way back, the kids loved spotting the turtles, rabbits, and deer that came out as the sun was setting. What a beautiful spot!
