Bryn

This is Bryn as the wicked witch from the Wizard of Oz...the one who gets smooshed by Dorothy's house. This outfit was easily Bryn's 15th outfit of the day. And it wasn't her last.

We are officially in the dress-up phase. 

All day, every day she is dressed as someone and acts in full, theatrical character. And Mya and I are always assigned to be her sidekicks. Today I can remember her being the wicked witch, Dorothy, Sally Cat, Curious George, Cinderella, Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Zurg, a purple plum(?), Captain Hook, Smee, Wendy, Ammon and Nephi from the Book of Mormon, Madeline, Snow White, and there were more I'm forgetting.

Sometimes it can be a little difficult when I'm trying to go somewhere and Bryn insists on going out in character with whatever outfit she's currently wearing. (She almost always gets vetoed on those requests). We've also got a bit of a problem with all the costumes and outfits that are strewn about her bedroom at all times. But besides those things, it is completely amusing and hilarious to see her meticulously putting together outfits, prancing around the house, acting out scenes from movies and books, and coercing Mya and I to stay true to our assigned characters. 

Of course, the best part is when she's belting out the Disney songs that go along with her character. Her dramatic singing voice and forced vibrato is just too much for me. It's always hard to hide my laughter because it's just too cute.
