Young Womens

They shook up lots of callings in my ward on Sunday and I ended up in the Young Womens program. So fun!
I've never served in YW before, so I'm wondering if any of you have any great ideas you've done for mutual activities, New Beginnings, Evening of Excellence, etc. I could use the help!

  1. The key to a successful YW program is to have the right theme. Above all else, the theme must be catchy and memorable. Here are a few I'd be happy to let you use:

    Joy in the Season
Courage to Walk, Courage to Talk
    Unless You Care, Beware
    Reach Within, Teach Within
    Just Look Around You
Faith to Learn, Faith to Yearn

I could go on. Feel free to use these, or I can just email you more.

  2. Those are fabulous theme ideas, Jae. Are you in YW too? If not, you should be. Laura, Kristen and I are both in YW in our wards, so we'd be glad to share ideas! (I'm volunteering her.) Not that we're experts, but she's been in for a few months and I've been in for about a year and a half. We have about 40 in our ward and she has about 15, I think. It's definitely fun!

  4. What is your calling? I always liked the ideas on sugardoodle.net. I sent a bunch of stuff to Marilee, I'll find it and email it to you.
