I have to choose the upcoming book for book club. I've thought of a few options, but does anyone have a recommendation? I know lots of you do book clubs, too. Please leave a comment if you have a good suggestion!
Our November book was "Wild Swans", a fascinating historical nonfiction of a Chinese woman Jung Chang and her family's journey as Mao Zedong reigned. The details of their life were horrific and heartbreaking. The courage and integrity of Chang and her family is unbelievable. It was a great book. (Similar to "Life and Death in Shanghai", if you've read that one.)

Ranger's Apprentice Series. I am on the 4th book and I am loving it and all the other ones. If Josh liked Lord of the Rings, he would like this.
The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak.
The Ladies Auxilary by Tova Mirvis is the best book club book we read. Such great discussion and especially when you look at our LDS women and how we might be like these ladies.
I second the Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. Incredible book.
We just read "Three Cups of Tea" and I found it interesting and motivating!
I also liked The Ladies Auxiliary, Book Thief and Three Cups of Tea. I would add The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society or Garlic and Saphires (if you're a foodie!).
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.. love that one.

the poisonwood bible, by kingsolver
pillars of the earth, by follett
